Matthew is a chiropractor from Johannesburg, South Africa, with a Master’s-level chiropractic qualification from the University of Johannesburg and over eleven years of clinical experience. He has completed an International Specialisation in Sports Chiropractic through the Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport, a FAKTR qualification, and is also a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
He has experience working with professional rugby, cricket, and athletics teams in South Africa, as well as athletes involved in strength sports, cycling, endurance events, and gym-based training.As a national-level powerlifter and former university-level rugby player, Matthew brings both clinical knowledge and real-world sporting experience to his approach. He is also currently undertaking postgraduate study in Sports Nutrition, further strengthening his understanding of exercise metabolism, athlete fuelling, recovery, and performance support.
Matthew’s approach integrates chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, movement assessment, and strength-based exercise prescription. He is passionate about helping everyday patients and athletes recover from pain, improve function, and return confidently to sport, training, and daily life. He also has a special interest in paediatric chiropractic care.
